Opening in a town near you!!
32nd ANNIVERSARY WRITING
On the occasion of Xanadu’s 30th anniversary, Helen Hoban and
Marc Edward Heuck wrote eloquently about their personal
relationship with and appreciation of the film on their own sites
and blogs.

Now, for the big number of 32, Kenneth Anderson, who was the
focus of the LA Time’s 2002 Man & His Muse article and
participated in the documentary in the movie’s 2008 DVD re-issue,
has offered one of his own for his movie blog,
Dreams Are
What Le Cinema Is For.
XANADU LIVE!
If you've read The Xanadu Story, you know that the 2001
production of Xanadu Live is an important event in the history of
the film. Not just the show, but it was there that the seeds for
Xanadu On Broadway was sewn.

Until now, there was no video of this production due to Actors
Equity rules. YouTube member nycpeeps had posted two short
videos from Xanadu Live!
HERE and HERE. We hope there will
be more coming!
NEW XANADU PODCAST!
Yours truly has just posted an over-due episode of Hour Of Crap
and it's yet another over-due Xanadu themed show.

This time, it's selected choices of remix and covers of the first
two Xanadu singles released: Olivia's MAGIC and ELO's I'M
ALIVE.

You can hear and download them
HERE!
Enjoy!
KIRA DOLL
Julie Bill makes custom dolls like a series of Michael Jackson,
Elvira etc.,

She just announced a Kira doll on her web site. "Kira" looks
great and comes with her own roller skates and a price tag of
$200.

You can take a look at the Kira doll on her web site
HERE and
judge for yourself!
The YouTube Saga (small update)
In December of last year, I spend over an hour
uploading a complete version of
Making Xanadu and
a few minutes later, found out it was instantly blocked
world wide. Out of spite, I left this banned video in my
account.

Well, it seems that persistence and stubbornness has
won out as it has just been unblocked...except in parts
of Germany.

Here's the
link to that video!
Mini-MEMORABILIA ROOM Update
The Room has been updated so much that we had to
add a 'second room'. A few rarities have cropped up,
thanks to Todd Palmer and David Estrada. Thank you,
gentlemen for sharing these photos with us!
