Looks like the man behind the Pussycats and the style of Archie Comics done got himself a large site. It’s about time!
The living Pussycat is still out and about and now has her own web site with info, pictures and selections of her career displayed!
You might as well find out what’s officially going on at the other side of the planet. If you can stomach it.
Writer Don Charles figures largly around here in JOZINE land as he has been writing about her longer than us! In fact, his 1990 Josie article in GOLDMINE inspired this whole JOZINE mess! He mainly writes about 60’s soul female singers and has written a few Josie pieces, which you can check out for yourself HERE and HERE.
Other than Cheryl Ladd, there sadly ain’t a lot of information of the other members of the ‘Pussycats’ singing group. Fortunately, we do have this page from a UK DJ site that lists Patrice’s discography in amazing detail. A must see!
Ms. Holloway may not be with us anymore, but that didn’t stop a fan from putting together a MySpace in her honor: photos and a music player containing her rare solo recordings.
We’ve done our share of beating up Archie Comic’s management and the 2001 movie and, judging from the out come, we’re not the only ones…..except for one of the writers from Onion’s AV Club section, who pleads on behalf of the movie in this 2009 article.
