|Welcome to a dump. A internet dump that's more or less a home base of many pointless interests and
purpose of someone who has spent a little too much time on the 'net. Yea, no big deal. Still, for a old
obscure pop culture fanboy like me, it's a requirement...and you're here to suffer for it.
|XANADU PRESERVATION SOCIETY
Where else are you going to find all you need to know
(but didn't have to) about the 1980 'musical fantasy of
all time, XANADU!
What started out as a accidental three issue zine run
of a Josie & The Pussycats and Dan DeCarlo has
morphed into a net home of the unofficial.
UNOFFICIAL SWEET DICK WHITTINGTON FANSITE
A small corner of one of Los Angeles radio's
important yet unsung personalities.
DON-O'S (personal) WESTCHESTER HISTORY SITE
Here's a small dot representing a small urban suburb
in Los Angeles where I spent them 'impressionable'
TWILIGHT WORLD (the zine version)
Nope. No stupid teenage vampires. Just a quarterly
perzine titled after a cool Swing Out Sister single.
INTERNET COMIC STRIPS
Doing my share of polluting the dime-a-dozen world of
the 'net comics with two of my very own, SHMUCK-O RAT
and THE JOLLY PINEAPPLE
ZINES MY EYE!
Here's a few pages detailing my little trip (both figurative and
literal) though the halls of zines-ville! Enter this old foggies
home with caution!
DON-O's VEGAS DUMP
Well, I've been talking about Las Vegas here and there not
only on tis site but in some of my zines. Thus I'm getting this
old obsession out of my system and into your computer. Hurr

ARIIZONA FUNNIES, a quarterly anthology of what can be guessed at is
living in Arizona, the land of cheap rent, loose gun laws and all that jazz.
And the gentleman behind this insane rag had ask me for a few pages
about my relationship with this state, and you can find then in issue #4.

|Well, holy useless crap! I'm on Etsy! A lot of these zinsters are taking advantage of this DIY site, so I might
as well do my part of this DIY capitalism myself. This also a good way to keep track of any new issues of
TWILIGHT WORLD and other zine projects that I'm too lazy to update here. My ETSY Dump!
|The easiest way to describe this zine is that it’s similar to VH1’s old I Love The 70’
s/80’s/90’s/etc., only without the smarminess amidst the cultural deconstruction and
this covers the 60’s and 70’s…..and I’m not a celebrity. This is just a collection of
notes and artwork covering the era I grew up in but too young to remember.
This first issue covers by background and why I’m rehashing it, a photo essay on
apartment signage and ‘tiki’ in my hometown of Santa Monica and art pieces of Las
Vegas. Yup, unlike those V-H1 shows, we’re getting obscure here!
This issue is digest size, 20 B&W pages and has a $3 price tag. If you want to buy
a copy, go to the new SPACE AGE ASH TRAY page for ordering information.
